WORSHIP + MEDIA 2025

Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling,

for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other,

making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.

Reflecting on this last year has given me opportunity to think through all we have accomplished and done over this last year as a team, as friends, and as a family, as we have served together. It has been a wild year, and I’m grateful for all God has done in us and through us.

As we move into this next year, the Lord has continued to bring to my mind the words of Paul in Ephesians 4, “…live a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.” Paul gives very specific instructions in the following verses, always be humble and gentle, be patient with one another, make allowance for each other’s faults because of your love, make every effort to keep peace, all because we are called to one glorious hope for the future.

I have been praying these scriptures in my own life the last few months, and I feel strongly that the Lord is calling our teams to this same thing over this next year, especially as we lead in our church. I am sincerely praying that He would bind us together in these ways - that we would be one body, operating in one Spirit, for this one hope for the future.

As we go into this season of prayer and fasting (January 6-26), I encourage you all to intentionally PLAN, intentionally PRAY, and intentionally SEEK Him for your life, your family, and your ministry. I believe there are big things coming for Lakeside over this next year that will require a deeper relationship, understanding, and intimacy with Him. While that starts with you for your own lives and families, it also starts with US as a team for our church.

Please take time to pray through Paul’s words in Ephesians (especially chapters 3 & 4) during this fasting season. Take the time to memorize these verses and bind them on your heart. Pray them over your life, your family, and our team.

Throughout this fasting season (and throughout the year), please feel free to share with the team how we can be praying with you and for you, how we can celebrate with you, how we can walk with you and support you.

I’m looking forward to 2025 with all of you! I cannot wait to see how God teaches us, makes us more like Him, and connects us together.
